The engine consists of a fixed cylinder and a moving piston. A Gasoline Engine generates electricity by burning a volatile liquid fuel with an ignition intiated by an electric spark. The expanding combustion gases push the piston, which in turn rotates the crankshaft. After the piston compress the fuel-air mixture, the spark ignites it, causing combustion.
