Pilgrims embark on this journey to seek blessings and spiritual purification by visiting Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Starting from Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River, and progressing to Gangotri, the origin of the Ganges, devotees traverse through rugged Himalayan terrain to reach Kedarnath, home to one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, and finally culminate their pilgrimage at Badrinath, the abode of Lord Vishnu. Each site holds profound religious significance, attracting devotees from all corners of the country who undertake this arduous yet spiritually enriching journey during the summer months.
