The Random Blood Sugar (RBS) test is a simple blood test that measures the level of an individual’s blood sugar levels at any given point in the day. If someone is sufferint from diabetes, it is important to keep a check on their glucose levels at random intervals of time. RBS is useful for patients who have severe diabetic issues as they need to monitor their blood glucose levels from time to time to keep themselves healthy. 

RBS Test can be done if a patient suffers from symptoms such as blurred vision, sudden palpitation, feeling extremely tired suddenly and feeling nauseous. The sugar levels in the blood vary before and after having a meal. The RBS test normal range should be between 80mg/dl to 130mg/dl before eating for healthy blood sugar levels. However, if the test is done within one or two hours after eating, the RBS normal range should be 180mg/dl. RBS test cost differs from city to city and from one lab to another. Find the nearest pathology lab and book the test.
