A state-run open university, Sree Narayanaguru Open University was founded by the Keralan government in 2020 and is based in Kollam, Kerala. The University Grants Commission (UGC) granted approval to Kerala's first open university in 2021. The university is made up of study centres and regional centres. The Narayana Guru-inspired university is headquartered in Kureepuzha, Kollam, and bears his name. Sreenarayanaguru Open University courses include both UG and PG courses.
