How did that turn into an asset for you?

You are taught to create an impact. I attempt to educate kids teens, especially high schoolers, I've talked to several high schools about the dangers of drinking and driving, and the impact it has on people as well as how you could hurt yourself, kill others or your family.
The nice thing about it is that it happened before I got to the Madden NFL 23. I was responsible for it. I didn't escape it, I took accountability for it, and I moved on.
You've said you're a mentor to younger kids. Has there been anyone whom you have been your mentor?
Is that really the case? No. I tend to watch my teachers, Steve Sarkisian and Doug Nussmeier who's currently the offensive coordinator at Michigan, and when they were around with me, I kind of just followed their style of operation. So I just do what they did.
Have you spoken to anyone?
The truth is that it's not. I've talked to Mark Bruener who played for the University of Washington, then Houston, and finally in the Pittsburgh Steelers. I've talked to him a numerous times. And I've talked to a bunch of others who are in the same program that is for example, the University of Washington -- as tight ends.
What kinds of things have they told you?
Just kind of give me the helpful hints of the next stage, and some rules and guidelines. They encourage me, and provide assistance.
